At Marches Walks we offer you the opportunity to experience the beauty, tranquility, history and heritage of a most lovely section of the British Isles at a pace to suit you.
|
This can be done at walking pace on one of our well established walking breaks, or at the slightly faster but less energetic pace of a people carrier tour, on one of our (new for 2007) Leisure Breaks.
Both are operated from our base at Footsteps in the Wye Valley, close to the Wales/England border and the Brecon Beacons National Park, at which we provide full board accommodation, packed lunch and all transport associated with your chosen holiday. |
|
With one of our guided or unguided walking breaks.
If your choice is for walking we serve a number of long and medium distance routes such as Offa’s Dyke Path (southern section), The Wye Valley Walk, The Three Castles Walk, The Beacons Way and more.
Alternatively we offer
bespoke tours of any duration, with or without guide, on our local hills, the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons or, for a more gentle level of activity, in the valleys of the Wye, Usk and Monnow.
|
|
If you prefer touring round places of interest over a wider area, you can do this with an experienced guide from the comfort of our purpose made vehicle on one of our Leisure Breaks
We are offering a selection of routes designed to exhibit the many and varied aspects of the Southern Marches from which you can make a selection to suit your available time or your particular interests.
You might even want to mix Walking and Leisure activities in a single holiday.
